Ensure justice for Najeeb and family : Irom Sharmila

Palakkad: Civil right activist Irom Sharmila,also known as the "Iron Lady" today asked the government to interfere in the enforced disappearance of JNU student Najeeb Ahammed. Signing the petition to National Minorities Commission, as part of the campaign organised by Students Islamic Organisation, she expressed her solidarity with the struggle for Justice for Najeeb. "Universities and campuses should be spaces for exchange of ideas and creativity" She said. 
A delegation led by sio state president CT Suhaib visited Irom at Santhigram ashram in Attappadi near Palakkad. CT Suhaib reiterated his organization's solidarity towards Irom's ongoing struggle against AFSPA. SIO state secretaries Amjad Ali EM, Mujeeburahman S, Palakkad dist president Fazil were part of the delegation.
