Born at Mundumuzhi-Vazhakkad in Malappuram, on 1 June 1961, T. Arifali took his degree in Afdalul Ulama. A teacher by profession T. Arifali has served in various positions including those of S.I.O state president, member of Central Consultative Committee, Nazim of Calicut District and the member of State Hajj Committee. Currently he holds the positions as the Amir, JIH Kerala chapter, and Chairman Ideal Publications Trust, Al majlisathul Islamiya T and Al Jamia Alislmia, Santhapuram. He has travelled extensively in Arab countries. He is married to Maryam Jameelah and has six children.
